Deep drawing is a metal forming process used to create complex, hollow, and three-dimensional parts from a flat sheet of material. In this process, a flat sheet of metal is drawn into a die using a punch, which causes the material to stretch and form a desired shape, typically cylindrical or conical. The depth of the draw is greater than the thickness of the material, which is why it is called "deep" drawing.
