A gear is a kind of machine element in which teeth are cut around cylindrical or cone shaped surfaces with equal spacing. By meshing a pair of these elements, they are used to transmit rotations and forces from the driving shaft to the driven shaft. The steels commonly used for manufacturing gears include heat-treated steel, quenched steel, carburized and quenched steel, and nitrided steel. Cast steel has slightly lower strength than forged steel and is often used for larger gears; gray cast iron has poor mechanical properties and can be used in lightly loaded open gear transmissions; ductile iron can partially replace steel in gear manufacturing; plastic gears are mostly used in applications requiring light loads and low noise, and the gears they are paired with are generally steel gears with good thermal conductivity.

       Processing: Forging, normalizing, rough, machining, fine finishi, carburizing, tempering,

       3. The tooth surface is finished by lapping machine, the color will be silver gray
