Introduction:
The piston rod is a connecting component that supports the piston to do work. It is mostly used in oil cylinders and cylinder motion execution components, and is a frequently moving and technically demanding moving component.
Piston rods are steel rods made of C1045/CK45 or 42CrMo/4140 material Ground and Hard Chrome plated surface. The rods undergo rigorous processes like pilling, straightening, hardening, grinding, polishing, hard chrome plating and finishing under the supervision of experienced engineers.

Piston rods are mainly used for hydraulic and pneumatic, engineering machinery, automobile manufacturing piston rods, guide columns for plastic machinery, roller shafts for packaging and printing machinery, axis shafts for textile machinery, conveying machinery, and linear optical axes for linear motion.
The function of the piston rod is to connect the piston and the crosshead, transmit the force acting on the piston, and drive the piston to move.
Basic requirements for piston rods:
(1) To have sufficient strength, stiffness, and stability;
(2) Good wear resistance and high requirements for machining accuracy and surface roughness;
(3) Minimize the impact of stress concentration on the structure as much as possible;
(4) Ensure reliable connection and prevent looseness;
(5) The design of the piston rod structure should facilitate the disassembly and assembly of the piston.
