5. How is it installed and tensioned?
Installation is a straightforward mechanical process:

Position: Hook the clamp's upper jaw over the top of the beam flange.

Close: Swing the lower jaw closed around the bottom of the flange.

Insert Pin: Place the high-tensile clevis pin through the aligned holes.

Tighten: Use a wrench to turn the tensioning bolt/nut, forcing the serrated jaws to bite into the beam flange until the specified torque is reached. This creates immense frictional grip.

6. What materials and specifications are used?
