We specialize in manufacturing high-performance custom forgings for critical applications across demanding industries. Utilizing advanced forging techniques-including open-die, closed-die, and ring rolling-we produce components with superior structural integrity, enhanced grain flow, and exceptional mechanical properties. Our forgings are engineered to outperform cast or machined alternatives in strength, reliability, and lifespan.
| Material | Friction Press Machines | Unit Weight Range | Min Tolerance |
Surface treatment | Heat Treatment |
| Carton steel, alloy steel, stainless steel | 25Tons~1000Tons | 0.1Kg~1000kg | 0.02mm | Pickling oil , Galvanization, Chromeplate, Hot Dip, Galvanizing, Painting, PowderCoating | Normalizing, Hardening, Tempering, Nitridation, Carburization |

Benefit: The forging process refines and aligns the metal's grain structure, resulting in superior impact strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance. This significantly reduces the risk of failure in high-stress applications.
Benefit: Our forgings are free from the porosity, inclusions, and voids common in cast parts. This ensures consistent density, uniform properties throughout the component, and maximum reliability.
Benefit: While the initial cost may be higher, the extended service life, reduced downtime, and lower maintenance requirements of forged parts deliver a superior Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Benefit: We forge a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum. We tailor dimensions, shapes, and heat treatment to your exact specifications.
Benefit: Advanced closed-die forging produces parts very close to final dimensions, minimizing material waste and reducing the need for extensive secondary machining.
Benefit: We provide complete material traceability (Mill Certificates) and comprehensive testing reports (UT, MT, mechanical tests), ensuring compliance with international standards like ASTM, ASME, and ISO.

Q1: What are the main differences between open-die and closed-die forging?
A: Open-Die forgings are produced between flat or simple-shaped dies, ideal for large, simple shapes like bars, shafts, and rings. Closed-Die forgings are pressed into precision-molded dies, producing complex, near-net-shape parts with excellent dimensional accuracy, ideal for high-volume components like automotive parts.
Q2: Can you work from my CAD drawing or sample?
A: Absolutely. We specialize in producing custom forgings from your technical drawings, 3D CAD models (STEP, IGES), or physical samples. Our engineers will conduct a free Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis.
Q3: Do you provide machined, ready-to-install forgings?
A: Yes. We offer a complete "Forging + Machining" turnkey service. We can deliver a fully finished component to your exact specifications, saving you time and managing your entire supply chain.
Q4: What certifications do you hold?
A: We are ISO 9001:2015 certified. We also manufacture to industry-specific standards such as AS9100 (Aerospace) and PED (Pressure Equipment Directive). Material and test certificates are provided with every order.
Q5: What is your typical lead time?
A: For standard custom forgings, lead time is typically 4-8 weeks after final design approval. Prototype lead times can be expedited. We provide a detailed schedule with your quotation.
Q6: Why choose the Shengao product?
A: We sheng ao have our own plant Weifang Shengao Machinery Co., Ltd, therefore, we can
surely promise the quality of every product and provide you comparable price.
Quality First, Price Best, Service Foremost!
We assure you of our best services at all times!
