1. High-Strength Pressed Steel Construction
Material: Manufactured from High-Grade Carbon Steel (Q235B, Q345B or equivalent) with a minimum yield strength of 235 MPa (Q235) or 345 MPa (Q345). Discs are formed through high-tonnage precision stamping/pressing for consistent shape and strength.
Surface Treatment: Standard finish is Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG) coating per ISO 1461 / ASTM A153, providing superior corrosion resistance for harsh outdoor environments. Electro-galvanized or painted (red/blue) finishes are also available.
Uniform Quality: The pressing process ensures excellent batch-to-batch consistency in dimensions and mechanical properties.
2. Precision Connection Design
8 or 10 Connection Points: Standard designs feature connection points at 0°, 45°, 90°, etc., allowing ledgers and diagonals to connect from multiple directions for 360-degree versatility.
Integral Connection Cups (Sockets): Each connection point has a precisely formed cup or socket designed to securely cradle the "blade" end of a ledger or diagonal tube. This cup-and-blade connection is the hallmark of the Ringlock system's speed and safety.
Wedge Hole & Locking Mechanism: Each cup includes a hole for the system's unique drop-forged wedge pin. When hammered in, the wedge expands the blade inside the cup, creating a rigid, moment-resistant connection without nuts or bolts.
Standard Connection: A central hole or welded stub allows vertical connection to the scaffold standard (upright post) via a sleeve coupler or welded pin.
3. Robust Welding & Integrity
Automated Welding: The connection cups are welded to the main disc body using Robotic CO2/MAG Welding, ensuring deep penetration, consistent weld strength, and high productivity.
Weld Quality Control: Welds undergo visual inspection and may be subject to non-destructive testing (e.g., magnetic particle) to ensure integrity under dynamic loads.
Rigid Structure: The combination of pressed disc and welded cups creates an extremely rigid node, capable of transferring high loads from multiple members.
