Standard Injection Molding: For high-volume production runs
Insert Molding: Combining plastic with metal/other materials
Overmolding: Multi-material/multi-color components
Micro Molding: For tiny, high-precision parts (down to 0.1g)
Gas-assisted Molding: For hollow parts with reduced weight
Two-Shot Molding: Complex multi-material parts in single cycle
Core Advantages:
Integrated Design & Functionality: Advanced processes like injection molding allow the consolidation of multiple features (such as snap-fits, living hinges, and internal channels) into a single, complex part. This significantly reduces assembly steps, enabling lightweight and structurally optimized designs.
Empowered by Materials Science: A vast material portfolio-from commodity resins like PP and ABS, to engineering-grade polymers like Nylon (PA) and Polycarbonate (PC), to high-performance specialties (e.g., PEEK, PTFE)-enables plastic parts to meet stringent requirements for chemical resistance, extreme temperature stability, flame retardancy, electrical conductivity, biocompatibility, and more.
Scale Economics & Consistency: Highly automated manufacturing processes ensure exceptional cost efficiency and dimensional stability at high volumes, delivering reliable and consistent quality across production batches.
Sustainable Solutions: Plastic parts are actively advancing the circular economy through the use of recycled content, bio-based polymers, and designs optimized for disassembly and recyclability, thereby reducing the environmental footprint across the product lifecycle.

Q1: What types of plastic molding processes do you offer?
A: We specialize primarily in Injection Molding, which is ideal for high-volume, complex, and precise parts. Within this, we offer:
Standard Injection Molding
Insert Molding (for combining plastic with metal/other inserts)
Overmolding/Two-Shot Molding (for multi-material or soft-grip parts)
Micro-Molding (for very small, high-precision components)
We also support related processes like Ultrasonic Welding and In-Mold Decoration.
Q2: What file format do you need for a quotation?
A: We require 3D CAD files for an accurate quote and DFM analysis. Preferred formats are STEP (.stp), IGES (.igs), or Parasolid (.x_t). 2D drawings (.pdf, .dwg) are also helpful for specifying critical dimensions, tolerances, and finish requirements. Please ensure your files are in 1:1 scale.
Q3: What are your standard tolerances for plastic parts?
A: Standard tolerances follow ISO 20457 (Plastics - Tolerances for molded parts). For most common thermoplastics:
Linear Dimensions: Typically ±0.1% to ±0.3% of the dimension, with a minimum of ±0.1mm.
Critical Fit Dimensions: Can be held to ±0.05mm with proper mold design and process control.
Specific tolerances depend on part geometry, material, and mold design. Our DFM report will provide detailed recommendations.
Q4: Can you work with engineering-grade or high-performance plastics (like PEEK, PEI)?
A: Yes, absolutely. We have extensive experience processing a wide range of materials, including:
Engineering Plastics: Nylon (PA6, PA66), PC, POM, PBT, PET.
High-Performance Plastics: PEEK, PEI (Ultem), PSU, LCP. These require specialized molding machines with precise temperature control.
We will advise on the best material for your application based on mechanical, thermal, chemical, and cost requirements.
Q5: Who owns the mold?
A: Standard practice is that the customer pays for and owns the mold. We store and maintain it at our facility at no charge during our production contract. We provide regular maintenance and condition reports. Upon project completion, the mold can be shipped to you.
Q6: What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
A: For injection molding, the MOQ is primarily driven by mold amortization. Our typical production MOQ is 10,000 pieces. However, for simpler parts or strategic partnerships, we can be flexible. For prototype/low-volume runs using existing or shared tooling, MOQs can be as low as 500-1,000 pieces.
Q14: What is your typical lead time from order to shipment?
A: Lead time depends on the project stage:
New Project (Requiring Mold):
Mold Manufacturing: 4-8 weeks
First Samples (T1): +1-2 weeks after mold completion
Mass Production: +4-8 weeks (based on quantity)
Repeat Order (Existing Mold): 4-6 weeks for production and shipping.
Q7: What are your payment terms?
A: Standard terms for new customers:
Mold/Tooling: 50% deposit with order, 50% balance before sample shipment.
Production Orders: 30% deposit with order, 70% balance before shipment.
For established customers, we offer more flexible terms (e.g., net 30).
Q8: What happens if there is a quality issue with the parts after delivery?
A: We have a strict quality guarantee. Please notify us immediately (within 7 days of receipt) with photos and details. Our quality team will conduct a root cause analysis. If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will arrange for replacements, rework, or credit. Proper storage conditions by the customer are assumed.
