Forging is one of the important methods for metal plastic processing. Its core advantages include material saving, high
production efficiency and strong production flexibility, which are hard to realize by many other manufacturing processes.

 1). Part forming:
 2). Structure modification, namely improving mechanical properties and internal structure of metals.

3. Mechanism of microstructure improvement by forging
 1). Compact pores and voids inside cast-metal structures;
 2). Breakcoarse dendriticcast grains into fine grains;
 3). Form continuous fibrous structures inside workpieces.

4. Performance advantages of forged components
 1). When fibrous structures are reasonably distributed along component contours, the mechanical properties of parts can
be significantly enhanced;
 2). Forged parts feature high strength and excellent resistance to heavy impact loads;
